The winter season starts in November and runs through mid-February. Workout Sessions run 5 days per week in the evenings and include an additional Saturday practice after the holiday break.
Workouts are primarily land-based, in the boathouse – working on conditioning, functional movement, and flexibility, as well as rowing on indoor rowing machines (ergs). Weather permitting, we may take boats out on Saturdays.

Many new rowers and coxswains start out in our Learn to Row Summer Camps. Athletes in these camps are introduced to the sport of rowing and teamwork. One of the camps offers the opportunity to race at a regatta in Seattle.
Existing Rowers can maintain fitness and work on their rowing skills throughout the summer by joining our Experienced Rower summer camps. Practices run on mornings, 4 days a week (M-Th) from June through July, usually culminating in a trip up to Green Lake in Seattle!
The fall season starts in late-August for the High School team, and mid-September for middle schoolers. Practices are on water with an optional competition at the end of the season.
