Independent Rowing

OAR has a vibrant and welcoming recreational rowing community. There are many club members who may row on any day of the week, retired folks or people who have flexible work schedules. The club has a fleet of more than 15 singles and doubles that members can take out on the water at any time. We contact one another by e-mail and row on pretty days year round.

Experienced adult rowers are welcome to contact us to arrange a guest row – or join our rowing community.

Rowers age 18-23 are welcome to join for shorter seasons that fit well with a summer or semester off from school. For more information on U23 (under 23) rowing, please contact membership@olympiaarearowing.org

Boat Storage

We have limited rack space for storage of your 2x or single in our boathouse. For information on availability and current rack fees, please contact the club captain at captain@olympiaarearowing.org
