Directions to Lowell State Recreation Site
From I-5, take Hwy. 58 (exit 188A) east, 13 miles to Dexter Lake.
Turn left at the white covered bridge, to Lowell.
Turn left at Boundary Rd. (becomes Pengra Rd.), then travel 0.8 miles to Lowell State Park.
Trailer loading Thursday Practice
Coxswains and Coaches meeting: Thursday, April 9th at 6:30 PM (Link )
Team Travel Departure: Friday arrive 9:15 am at boathouse
All others plan on meeting at the race course between 1-2 pm on Friday for unloading and boat rigging
Saturday Arrival: All youth rowers should plan to be at the park SATURDAY by 7:30 AM .
Sunday arrival time will be announced at the race course.
Trailer loading: immediately following races. All athletes expected to remain until loading is complete and released by the head coach.
Trailer unloading: Monday Practice.

Water Shoes- it will be a beach launch

extra clothes (Arrive dressed to race and wearing layers over top of your uni)

your wrench
favorite race day snacks & a water bottle (see Food section below)

Saturday Breakfast (Cold): Bagels, muffins, yogurt, cream cheese, peanut butter, fruit (bananas/mandarins), cheese, and nuts.
Saturday Lunch (Grilled): Chicken fajitas with sautéed vegetables, rice, salsa, beans, cheese, and chips.
Sunday Breakfast (Hot): Hashbrown scramble: Eggs, cheese, hashbrowns, peppers, onions as well as oatmeal.
Sunday Lunch (To-Go): Tortilla wraps with lunch meats, cheese, and fresh toppings, cookies, and fruit. (Please pack your wrap before noon so tear-down and boat loading are not delayed).
All Weekend: Trail mix, granola bars, fruit snacks, Gatorade, chocolate milk, coffee, tea, and sparkling water.
Parking
Spectator parking is available across the street for $10/vehicle.
Free parking is available at Lowell High School. There will not be a shuttle.
Please do not park on the side of the road. All vehicles parked on the side of the road are subject to being towed.
