What Does it Cost?
OAR is a volunteer-run organizatioOAR is a volunteer-run organization and depends on the support of community members, adult and youth rowers, coaches, and junior parents to succeed. OAR pays coaches at an hourly rate to spend their afternoons planning and executing rowing workouts, attending and coaching at regattas, and performing other coaching obligations. We set our fees based on the cost of coaching, plus motor launch usage and gas, and a small consideration for equipment usage (boats, oars, safety supplies, etc). This season, the following fees apply:
Spring Season Fees
Experienced rowers $420
New rowers $420
Coxswains $240
